Mapping Survey on hate crime monitoring and training

Mapping Survey

The mapping activity kicked off in 2011 constituted an easy, on-line survey which allowed the project’s team to generate the participation of organizations monitoring a variety of biases motivating hate crime. By completing the survey, organisations gained access to participate in two other subsequent activities, the Guidelines Workshop and Train-the-Trainer seminar. The mapping survey was disseminated via a wide variety of networks and promoted at several events of the Fundamental Rights Agency and the OSCE/ODHIR as well as other conferences such as with the European Social Platform. As of November 2012, 81 organisations completed thesurvey from 27 EU member states. The objective of this activity was to foster participation and cooperation among different socio-cultural groups which could then be further built upon in the future to help realize the remaining project’s goals.
